Creating a New Survey
From inside your application, choose Web Forms from the menu bar on the left. The menu can be expanded and collapsed by clicking anywhere along the orange bar.
Then click the Create Web Form button and select Survey from the list of Web Form options. You can then decide whether you'd like to start from scratch or use on of our pre-built templates. If you choose to Create New, you can still access our templates by clicking on the templates icon in the Design tab.
Next, you can give your new survey a name and description by clicking on the title box. You also have the option to allow users to save their partial survey and return to complete it at a later date.
Below the name and description area, you can add the list of questions. If you're starting from scratch, there will be one question already created for you. If you're working from a template, there will be multiple questions already created for you.
You can select from a variety of question types by clicking on the drop-down menu.
To learn more about the specifics of each question type, consult our Question Field Guide for details. If you'd like to learn more about advanced features like Piping and Branching, we have articles for those features as well.
You can also add text or instructions in between any two questions by clicking the + icon and selecting New Text
Then, type in the text you'd like to display.
After your respondent has completed your form, they will be taken to a blank page. If you'd like to add a custom end page, click the + icon after your last form field, then choose Add End Page.
You may then add a custom title, message and URL to link to if you'd like.
All Qrvey web forms can be customized to fit the look and feel of your brand. To learn more about customization and in-context embedding options, please read our Customizing Web Forms article.
Publishing & Using Surveys
When you are happy with your survey and customizations, you can proceed to the Publish tab to active it and begin using it.
On the Publish tab, click Activate to allow your form to be viewed. You can make changes to your forms at any time by clicking Pause. If you'd like to deactivate your survey permanently, click End. You may also set a specific Duration you'd like to collect responses for, after which your survey will automatically pause and stop accepting submissions. By default, all surveys will collect responses indefinitely.
