Customizing Checklists

Take your checklists to the next level by customizing them to fit your website or brand. Qrvey allows you to add your own logo and modify the entire look and feel of your checklists. This article will walk you through the steps.

From your dashboard, select the qrvey you'd like to customize. Note that only qrveys in "draft" mode can be edited.  Active and completed qrveys must first be duplicated before they can be customized.

After you've selected your qrvey, choose Customize from the top toolbar.

Once inside the customization window, you'll be able to customize three main areas: Logo, Colors and In-Context options if you'll be embedding this checklists into your website or application.  The customization panel is divided into two sections, with editable settings on the left and a live preview of your checklists on the right.

To replace the Qrvey logo with your own, just click Upload Logo and select your own image. Logos can be resized by clicking and dragging on the image once it's uploaded.

To modify the colors of your checklists, expand the Color Themes palette and choose from any one of the options provided.  Any changes you make will be reflected in the preview in realtime.

If you'd rather not choose colors individually, Qrvey has provided a few prebuilt themes you can choose from. To choose a prebuilt theme, click the Load Theme button.

If you plan on embedding your checklist into a website, blog or web application, you'll want to choose from the various In-Context Settings below. If you will be sharing your checklists via email or social media, you will not need to update these settings.

When you are happy with all of your selections, you can save them as a theme for future use or just continue to the publish options.

In-Context Settings

In order to embed your checklists into a website or application, you'll need to first choose how you'd like it to appear.  You can choose from the tabs, pop-ups and modal window options shown below, as well as a direct embed option that will provide you with just a simple <DIV> that you can add directly to your HTML.

For tab and window options, you can also choose the text you'd like to appear on the tab label and/or title.

In addition to how your checklist will appear, you can also choose the timing of when it will be displayed.  The Trigger Time option sets how many seconds you'd like to wait between when the page loads and when your checklist will trigger.
