Qrvey's Automation platform allows for the scheduling of events and the ability to act on feedback as it's being received. In this article, we will provide a brief overview of automation and provide the basics of creating a automation workflow.
Create a Workflow
To get started with automation, choose Workflows from the lefthand menu of your dashboard.
Once inside the Automation dashboard, click Create Flow
and then give your workflow a name and description, just as you would with a new qrvey.
What is a Workflow?
Workflows consist of three basic elements:
Triggers / Schedules - an event that begins a flow.
Actions - the work that gets done when the trigger is initiated.
Conditions - filters that either include or exclude actions from happening.
For example, you may have a simple workflow that alerts you (action) when your qrvey receives a new response (trigger). Or you may choose to send a follow up qrvey (action) to a users that chooses a particular answer (condition) on an initial qrvey (trigger). These are just two basic examples of automation in action. There are hundreds of possible use cases and workflows that you are able to create.
