Using Triggers

In Automation, triggers are the elements that begin or initiate a workflow.  In this article, we will detail how to use them in your flows. 

 

Scheduling

Automation's scheduling trigger allows any process to be initiated at the date(s) and time(s) of your choosing.    Simply select how frequently you'd like your trigger to run and at what time.  You can also choose a start date and an ending date, or specify the number of times you'd like the trigger to run.

 

 

When you are happy with your scheduling presets, you may complete your process by adding conditions and actions or simply click Save Changes to save your process and return to the Automation dashboard. 

 

 

New Response

The New Response trigger is one of Automation's most powerful, allowing users to take action as soon as a response is received for a specific qrvey. Setting up a new response trigger is simple, just select the name of the qrvey you'd like to begin your process and your workflow will be run any time a new response is received.

Note that only active qrveys can be selected for the New Response trigger. If your qrvey is not yet activated, you will not be able to select it.
