One small but power feature in Analytics is sentiment analysis, the ability to tell whether a particular comment is positive or negative. Analytics automatically applies sentiment analysis to all short and long text fields and is a useful tool when you're quickly scanning your results.
Sentiment analysis appears as three gray dots ••• that appear just before the short or long text comments. If the comment is generally positive, you will see one to three green dots ••• and if the comment is generally negative, you will see one to three red dots •••
The more dots you see, the more positive or negative the sentiment. Typically you will see one dot for shorter comments and two or three dots for longer ones.
Note: Gauging sentiment is not a perfect science, so you should not rely on our dots for any scientific measurements.
